About

The Vyria Gazette was founded in the year 718 of the First Age, an era we possess very little knowledge about. We do know that early magitech of the Second Kingdom had advanced to the point of creating automated presses, which some of the first Gazette papers of the time were written with. Due to the rampant censorship of the late royal period, most Gazette papers of this period have been lost to time.

What we can say with certainty is that the Gazette has been doing fine investigative work for centuries. Even the earliest papers scrutinize the kings in detail. It's fair to say that journalistic integrity has always been our byword.

We're glad you chose to pick up this copy of the Gazette, and we hope you continue to stay with us as your paper of choice for years to come.
